Uden at gøre mig klog, tror jeg næppe, du har sasl1 installeret.
Options betyder vist, hvilken måde der kommunikeres på.

Disse kender jeg ikke, så hvad de gør, har jeg ingen ide om.

Jeg søgte lige på nettet, og fandt følgende om sasl og Outlook Express
(oe):
oe virker kun, hvis sasl annoncerer 250-AUTH LOGIN PLAIN
