Næ, og dog. Det er langt fra hver dag jeg sætter nye dimser i.
Fremgangsmåden som jeg husker det er:
1.- Kompiler en kerne med det hele.
2. Kompiler den igen, men denne gang kun med de moduler, som maskinen
har aktiveret.

Fremover vil man så kunne bygge videre på det grundlag, og få en meget
hurtigere kompilering.

Det er klart, at en ændring af ens hardware ville medføre, at man skulle
aktivere det nødvendige modul, og rekompilere kernen, men i forhold til
at skulle optimere ved at nulstille et hav af "ligegyldige" moduler er
det da værd at tage med.
