Jeg kan sige så meget at kort med Atheros- og PrismGT-chipset (mener jeg de
hedder) ikke vil være rare i SUSE 10.1 - de vil i modsætning til tidligere
kræve Ndiswrapper pga. hhv. fjernelse af binary-only (closed source)
kernemoduler og en bug i den ny NetworkManager.

Jeg har hørt Ralink RT2500 chipsets anbefalet ifm. SUSE andre steder.

Hvordan man finder ud af hvilke kort der har hvilke chipsets før man køber
er straks sværere.

Så skal jeg lige komme med det sædvanlige skolelæreragtige sure opstød.
OpenSUSE er projektet/communitiet - der er ingen distribution der hedder
openSUSE - distributionen hedder SUSE Linux - med 10.1 vil der ikke længere
være en særskilt OSS-version - men alt non-OSS er flyttet til cd6 som er
valgfri - således at man nemt kan undgå closed source hvis man ikke vil
anvende f.eks. Suns Java eller Flash.
