Du skal nok ¿ndre rettigheder
chmod 777  jre-6u26-linux-i586-rpm.bin

og derefter

./jre-6u26-linux-i586-rpm.bin

så burde det virke, når du har linket libjavaplugin.so til
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins

Ovensyuende er en ubuntu ops¿tning, kan v¿re at linket skal ligge et andet
sted på SuSE

Nå, jeg har ellers altid troet, at .rpm-pakker skulle installeres med en
rpm-kommando!?

 Det kan du ikke med en .bin fil, måske danner kommandoen :

./jre-6u26-linux-i586-rpm.bin
evt.
sh ./jre-6u26-linux-i586-rpm.bin

en rpm fil du kan installere på normal vis
