Throttling control betyder at CPU'en kan skifte hastighed når den ikke
bruges (og derved spare strøm). Limit interface betyder (så hvidt jeg
har forstået) at man kan sætte en øvre grenste for hvor hurtigt cpu'en
køre.

Det her er ikke en seperat CPU men bare en representation af
"den anden halvdel" af en dualcore CPU. Den kan ikke limit eller
throttle for sig selv (følger altid CPU0's indstillinger).

Ubuntu burde understøtte throtteling som standart, prøv eventuelt at
tilføje CPU frekvens appletten til dig gnoma panel.
programmer som powernowd og cpufreq er forældede, da linux kernen nu
selv kan stå for styringen af cpu frekvens styring.
Set kræver bare at det rigtigt kernel modul er indlæst...
