et eller andet skete også hos mig så det ikke virker efter 
opgraderingen til 7.04

jeg plejer blot at kalde:
 sudo ifdown eth1
 sudo ifup eth1

Men det skyldes at /etc/network/interfaces er ok hos mig,
så det skal virke.

Linux (ubuntu mfl) er ved at blive lidt for "windows-agtige"
så alle mulige mystiske opsætninger slås om den korrekte opsætning...
(prøv at se på /etc/gnome-system-tools/network/
 og ~/.gnome2/network-admin-locations/
)

vi er vist ikke de eneste der har haft problemet:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/92299
men den sidste burde være fixet.
