Det gør den også.

Hvad mener du med kontakt til ? Er netkortet fundet af systemer, og
har det en adresse ? Det kan også være der er en form for firewall
på. Du antyder ved at kalde dem for LAN og WAN at du bruger den som
router/firewall for nogle lokale klienter.

Du kan se hvad "ifconfig -a" siger. Prøv også med "iptables -nL".
Eventuelt lede efter eth0 og eth1 i outputtet af dmesg.

Men så er der sikkert heller ikke sat nogen firewall op, hvilket jeg
synes det lyder som om der er normalt i din installation.
