Nej, for i Unix/Linux er det skallen (bash/tcsh mfl.) der udvider
regulære udtryk (*.ps osv.) mens det i DOS er programmet selv, og det er
grunden til at man kan rename flere af gangen der. 

Når mv programmet starter får det bare en argumentliste der ser således
ud:

argv[0] = "mv"
argv[1] = fil1
argv[2] = fil2

osv. så det ved ikke hvad det skal omdøbe fra og til.

Men mon ikke du kan bruge for-løkke konstruktionen i bash til det (help
for)
