Det er en stor hjælp for installatøren hvis du på forhånd har gjort dig klart hvad det er du vil bruge din computer til. Endnu større hjælp er det hvis du har overvejet hvilke programmer du vil have installeret

jeg har en bærbar Compaq armada 1530
P 133 mmx 80 ram 1,4 Gb hd 10 speed cdrom
samt et Lasat flexcard 336e modem / netkort
så vidt jeg kan se er det ikke support /u linux

her er du nødt til at spørge på sslug-teknik, der plejer altid at være en der har haft samme problem.
