IT developer - PostgreSQL DBA & Perl

Do you want to use your IT skills within Biotechnology Research? 
The R&D Data Management department in Bagsværd is extending the 
software development team for the central R&D workflow application. 
You will join the team which has built the application by using a 
wide range of standard Perl modules and utilizing the Open Source 
eco-system.

Qualifications

* You enjoy working in a strong team working towards ambitious
   goals with high responsibility. You have a professional
   attitude and a structured working style for navigating in a
   highly complex environment
* Your technical interest is triggered by application development
   on Linux using Mason, DBIx::Class and the Catalyst MVC-framework
   with various components like R, Gridengine and bioinformatics tools
* Your technical repertoire covers:
   * Excellence in large scale PostgreSQL installations(100GB+)
   * Experience in Linux system administration (Ubuntu, Debian,
     Nagios, Cacti, Bacula, Gridengine, Subversion)
   * Expertise in performance tuning and crash-recovery.
   * As a developer you have worked with object oriented Perl development & DBIx::Class (ORM).
   * Optimally your technical portfolio covers also web development,
     Catalyst and Mason
* Preferably, you have participated in IT projects in an enterprise
   context. You enjoy working in a global research organization
   with people of different personalities and cultures.
