Overklistret net med "Microsoft Office System nye filformater er åben standard"



Hvis man har været lidt på diverse nyhedssites idag, så kan man se
bannerannoncere med teksten:

"Microsoft Office System nye filformater er åben standard". 

Jeg tror jeg fanger budskabet, selvom jeg savner et par bogstaver for at
få det til at være en korrekt sætning på dansk.

Men altså.. Det er jo _ikke_ en åben standard, den er endnu ikke
godkendt i Ecma (ifølge Keld). Så er dette bare et forsøg på at "tale
det til at være en åben standard". 

Hvordan slår vi hårdere på definitionerne af en "åben standard"? 

Skal vi til at sige "åben standard" => ISO ? Eller giver det for meget
bagslag?
