Tilgå fysisk hukommelse som filsystem



Hejsa,

sidder med en platform hvor jeg har noget statisk hukommelse mappet ind i det fysiske memory space. Det kan jeg så tilgå fra user-space via mmap() på /dev/mem.

Jeg ville egentlig gerne tilgå hukommelsen igennem et filsystem (med kompression og journalling), for at få en generisk adgangsmetode, men hvordan får jeg hukommelsesblokken til at opføre sig som et block device så jeg kan mounte et filsystem der? Findes der drivere til dette, eller skal jeg selv til at opfinde noget?

Har ledt lidt rundt, men Linux' standard ram disk driver (http://lxr.linux.no/source/Documentation/ramdisk.txt), kan så vidt jeg kan se ikke tvinges til at lægge sig på en bestemt adresse (den allokerer dynamisk fra buffer-cachen). 

Findes der nogle smarte løsninger jeg har overset?
